Purpose of mud scraper:
The mud scraper is mainly used in urban sewage treatment plants, water treatment plants and industrial wastewater treatment of large diameter round sedimentation tank to remove the sludge deposited at the bottom of the pool and skim the pond surface scum.
Structure of the mud scraper
The mud scraper is composed of driving device, working bridge, main mud scraper device, auxiliary mud scraper device, center rotary plate, skimmer device, overflow weir plate, slag deflector and collecting device. For the effluent sedimentation tank around the center inlet water, it is generally necessary to set a diversion pipe.
Working principle:
The driving device drives the mud scraper to rotate around the center of the sedimentation tank. After the raw water is deposited in the sedimentation tank, the supernatant liquid is discharged from the overflow weir plate and the sludge deposited at the bottom of the pond. Driven by the logarithmic spiral curved line scraper, the sludge slowly flows along the bottom of the pond to the central mud collector tank and is discharged through the mud pipe. At the same time, the scum on the pool surface is concentrated in the area between the scum scraper and the scum baffle. When the working bridge passes the scum discharge pipe floating on the pool surface, the scum discharge pipe is pressed under the liquid surface, and the scum discharge pipe goes out of the pool through the discharge pipe.
Features of the mud scraper:
The mud scraper adopts the form of logarithmic spiral curve, and adopts rubber wheel to support walking along the bottom of the pool.
