  • Zero energy exhaust device: transverse air pipe is installed on top of each layer of filter material. The transverse air pipe is connected with the zero energy exhaust device.

  • Filter materials are one or more of the selected ceramic granules, volcanic rocks, and limestone.

Technical advantage and treatment effect

Technology introduction

MBBR treatment has absorbed the advantages of traditional activated sludge process and biological contact oxidation process and become a new and efficient composite process treatment method. MBBR equipment is mainly discharged after centralized treatment of domestic sewage. Anaerobic, hypoxia and good oxygen functional zones are set in the reactor. The improved biological suspension filler, uniform water distribution and gas extraction and reflux are adopted in the design. Based on the research and improvement of the MBBR process, the new integrated sewage treatment equipment has not only retained the advantages of the traditional MBBR method, but also improved and optimized it from the actual engineering, so as to design and produce the mature and practical new integrated MBBR equipment. The new equipment retains the advantages of the traditional integrated equipment of biological contact oxidation method, and makes appropriate parameter adjustment on the internal structure of the equipment and the suspended ball filler, making the new MBBR equipment better and more efficient use of microorganisms to remove organic matters, nitrogen and phosphorus in water compared with the traditional equipment.

Technical advantage and treatment effect

The new MBBR wastewater treatment technology has been quite mature and achieved good results in practical application. In MBBR, the biofilm is mainly fixed on the filler, and sludge retention time is independent of hydraulic retention time. Microorganisms such as nitrifying bacteria and nitrite bacteria that have a long generation time and a small specific growth rate can grow on the filler, thus enhancing the ability of denitrification. The denitrification process is divided into two stages: nitrification and denitrification, which are completed by nitrification bacteria and denitrification bacteria respectively. MBBR can realize the relatively independent growth of nitrification bacteria and denitrification bacteria in space, thus optimizing the growth conditions of the two kinds of bacteria groups and enhancing the effect of denitrification. Practical engineering application shows that the introduction of filler can increase the oxygen utilization rate of the original system by more than 10%. Therefore, the aeration amount and operation energy consumption can be reduced correspondingly under the condition of equal oxygen demand. The mobile bed biofilm technology relies on biofilm to treat sewage, which can eliminate the sludge reflux system and avoid the problems of original sludge expansion, sludge floating and loss in activated sludge process. The overall treatment capacity can be easily improved by adding fillers to meet the demand of further expansion of sewage in the future, which provides a good guarantee for the effect of sewage treatment.
